Inclusive Leadership Workshop

Join OWIG for an Inclusive Leadership Workshop on Thursday, October 17, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Athletic Club of Columbus. Registration closes Thursday, October 10.

What does it take to be a great leader, and what will it take to be a great leader in the future? Join OWIG for a transformative session that will help participants think about how traditional notions of leadership are changing. Lindsay Hough and Mia Pareek of Deloitte Consulting LLP will walk participants through the importance of inclusive leadership and the need to look beyond traditional leadership assessment tools and frameworks.

Since 2011, Deloitte has researched the inclusive leadership capability – what it means, how it is experienced by others, and how to measure it. Deloitte’s research has demonstrated that highly inclusive leaders demonstrate six signature traits—in terms of what they think about and what they do—that are reinforcing and interrelated.

This session will introduce participants to the six traits of inclusive leadership. Collectively, these six traits represent a powerful capability highly adapted to diversity. The session will also encourage participants to explore their leadership values and commit to actions that will help them achieve their leadership ideals.

The fee for this event will be $15 for members and $35 for prospective members. If you'd like to join us, please register below. Space will be limited, so be sure to register soon!
