In 2022, OWIG launched a new program to better connect our outstanding members with each other. The new initiative, named Connect, allows members to forge meaningful one-on-one connections with each other throughout the year. To accomplish this, the program creates curated member pairings to promote mentorship, learning, or the forging of new professional and personal relationships to supplement regular OWIG programming. Connections meet with each other several times throughout the year based on their individual schedules. OWIG provides external support and hosts group gatherings for participants to share progress and feedback. The intent is for Connect to be flexible to meet each member’s needs; thus, participants are paired with another member based on similar goals.
